Pronoun Part 5

Setelah Subject Pronoun,Complement Pronoun, Possesive Adjective dan Possesive Pronoun, bahasan Pronouns terakhir adalah Reflexive Pronouns.

Reflexive Pronouns dalam sebuah kalimat diletakkan setelah kata kerja (Verb). Myself, yourself, ourselves, themselves, herself, himself dan itself adalah Reflexive Pronoun.

Contoh :

1. I cleaned myself

2. She served herself in the party

3. The children warm themselves in front of the fire

4. We could see ourselves reflected in the mirror

5. He only thinks of himself

6. He did the work himself

7. I must speak to your father myself

8. You yourself must decide what to do

9. The teenagers amused themselves by telephoning their friends

10. We ourselves were surprised at the news

Dalam situasi lain kita bisa langsung meletakkan Reflexive Pronouns setelah Subyek, bila kita ingin memberikan PENEKANAN bahwa subyek yang dimaksud melakukan sendiri pekerjaan tersebut.

Contoh :

1. She herself cut her hair

2. My father himself cleaned the house

3. The students themselves decorated the classroom
